What if I told you that one simple thing could relieve stress, make you famous, and earn you a ton of money? In today’s day and age, it’s completely possible for anyone – young to old, rich to poor, master’s degree to high school dropout. And that one thing is blogging. But why should you become a blogger?

1. Blogging Allows You To Get Your Thoughts Out There

You are a human. Therefore, you have thoughts, emotions, and opinions. It doesn’t matter what they are, with the power of a blog, you are able to share those thoughts and opinions with the entire world. You’re able to have people come and read those opinions, analyze and give their own input on them, and even further share them with others. Do you feel really strongly for something? Sure you do, everyone feels strongly for something. So why not blog about it? The world is your oyster.

2. Blogging Allows You To Share Your Knowledge

No opinions you want to share? No problem. But you do know something. In fact, you know a lot of things. You probably are more more knowledgeable in a certain subject than most other people are. So why not share it? A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle, if you know what I mean. Ever wanted to become a teacher when you were younger? Heck, I know I did. I looked up to my teachers all throughout school. But guess what? Now I am one. And instead of reaching and teaching only a few hundred people a year, I’m now reaching out to thousands and thousands a year – all through my blogs.

3. Blogging Is Fun!

Especially in the early days of blogging, the large majority of people blogged for fun. After all, going to your computer, typing out a blog post and publishing it can be fun to a lot of people. As mentioned earlier, it also gets your thought out to the world, and works as a great stress reliever.  Back when I launched my first blog at the age of 11, it was purely for fun. And by doing it for fun, I learned a lot about blogging for money. 6 years later, at my current age of 17, I’m making more money than both my parents, which brings me to my next point. .

4. Blogging Can Make You Money

If money is your sole purpose of starting a blog, chances are you won’t be successful. Although over 81% of blogs never make more than $100, yours will. You know why? Because you’ve found this website, a guide which will teach you how to be successful online. Blogging has the capability to make you thousands of dollars a month, and it very well can if you are committed. Chances are, your beginning weeks, you won’t make much if anything. But over time, building a mass of informational articles, soon you can be making a ton of money, by sharing the knowledge you already know.

If you already own a small business, blogging can be a great way to market your brand to new customers, generate leads, and even act as a platform to directly sell products on.

5. Blogging Can Make You Famous

Although this is very hard to do, it is certainly possible. With enough viewers coming to your website and returning, you can actually become an authority within your niche, or even famous as a person. When I first started high school, I wasn’t popular. People ignored me, people judged me. After I started making money online, being interviewed by local newspapers and such, suddenly everyone was my friend. Why? Nothing about my personality or appearance had changed, yet I was known to everyone in my school. And it can get much greater than this. If I saw a big name blogger like Darren Rowse of Problogger or Lisa Irby of 2CreateAWebsite and Niche Website Success somewhere in real life, I would instantly know who they are. Why? I’ve read so much of their content online, I know all about them – their personality, appearance, and opinions. And one day, this could be you. You could become a famous blogger, and I hope you do.
