10 Characteristics Of Highly Successful Bloggers

What separates a mediocore blogger from a highly successful blogger?

This is a question that I pondered for ages back when I was a beginner myself. What traits did successful bloggers have that I didn’t? What made them so great?

The truth is, all of us are born knowing absolutely nothing about blogging. We aren’t born great entrepreneurs. We don’t enter the world with our head full of marketing or business knowledge.

It’s all learned. All the great bloggers and entrepreneurs that you look up to started from nothing, and grew into the people they are today.

This means with enough effort, you can become great too.

But still, all of the highly successful bloggers do have certain traits in common that have helped bring them to the levels they are at now. Here are 10 characteristics of highly successful bloggers – characteristics you may wish to adopt yourself if you wish to reach the same levels they have. [Read more…]

In Business, You Can Only Ever Rely On Yourself

When I look around, I see a lot of people playing a really risky game.

While there’s no harm in taking risks, you only want to take on risks that make sense. The right risks. Risks that benefit you in the long-term rather than the short-term.

One of the worst risks you can possibly take is putting all of your eggs in one basket, and this is exactly what many people are doing.

What Does The Future Of Internet Marketing Look Like?

When you look back at how things have changed in the internet marketing world over the past 10 years, it’s pretty incredible.

I wasn’t making a living online in 2005, but I have spoken with many marketers who have made it clear that the game was entirely different back then. The internet was still relatively new, it was easier to reach people, and those who started content-rich websites could do well much easier.

Today, it’s completely different. On one hand, people are spending more time and money online than ever before. On the other, everyone and their dog is starting up a website and trying to earn a living from it.

This trend is set to continue, and as technology continues to advance, it’s interesting to see where we’ll be at in 10, or even just 5 years from now. Let’s take a look at what the future of internet marketing has in store for us, and how we can prepare for it now. [Read more…]

How To Build A Successful Amazon Affiliate Site – The Ultimate Guide

Earlier this year, I launched my first my first Amazon affiliate site. I had heard from some internet “gurus” that it was no longer possible to make money through Amazon affiliate sites, and I wanted to see if this were actually true.

Problem Solving vs Hobby Niches – Which Are More Profitable?

The majority of profitable niches are divided into two main categories. Problem solving, and hobbies. The problem is, people have hard time deciding which they should enter into. This is understandable – it’s a big choice, and there are conflicting opinions everywhere.

One set of marketers will say that anything but problem solving niches are a waste of time, as buyers are desperate to solve their problems and are very willing to pay for an instant solution. Another set of marketers will insist that hobby niches are far more profitable, because the visitors that visit your site are more likely to return and purchase from you multiple times.

While both can be extremely profitable, problem solving and hobby niches are often tackled in drastically different ways. For this reason, we must dig a little bit further before we can decide which category would be more profitable for you. [Read more…]
